Airworthiness Advisor

Mr. Short brings nearly 35 years of combined aviation experience in FAR Part 91, 121, 135 (9 or less), 135 (10 or more), 145, 133, 136, and 137 in both fixed wing and rotorcraft operations in quality and technical leadership management. In 1988, Mr. Short started his career at Air Kentucky Airlines as the Director of Quality Assurance later at AgRotors Helicopter as the Director of Quality Assurance for both the Part 135 operation and the FAA Approved 145 Repair Station. Within the FAR Part 121 regional airline world, he has held roles such as the Manager of Quality Assurance, the Director of Maintenance Administration, Managing Director of Quality, Technical Services and Fleet Transactions.

Mr. Short is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with a BS in Aviation Business Administration. Mr. Shorts holds three graduate degrees from Mount St. Mary’s University with a Master of Science in Business Administration, Central Missouri State University with a Master of Science in Aviation Safety, and Kennesaw State University with a Master of Science in Quality Assurance.

Finally, Mr. Short received a Black Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification from the Kennesaw Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering, Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification from the Southern Polytechnic State University graduate program and a Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification from Layton State University.
