Attorney – Managing Member
Erik is an aviation attorney, an Airline Transport Pilot with flight experience in Part 91, 121, 135 and 141 Operations, and a Certified Flight Instructor. He has logged over 7,500 flight hours.
He is a managing member in The Kientzy Firm, L.L.C. in St. Louis, Missouri and practices primarily in aviation law. Mr. Kientzy is admitted to practice law in Missouri and Illinois, and advises clients on all aspects of aviation law, including FAA Enforcement Action Defense; TSA Enforcement Action Defense; Aircraft Accident Litigation; and FAA and IRS considerations of aircraft acquisition, operation and leasing.
Mr. Kientzy is a member of the Missouri Bar Transportation Law Committee, Subcommittee on Legislative Review (2009-19 Sessions), and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association.
He has enjoyed speaking to the Missouri Pilots Association, St. Louis Chapter; the Greater St. Louis Flight Instructors Association and other groups on aviation law issues.
Erik Kientzy received his B.S. magna cum lade in Aviation Science from Parks College of Saint Louis University and his Juris Doctorate from Washington University School of Law.
